We have a very special episode for you this time and I thought, it deserves a special mention. We were fortunate enough to get a chance to interview VMware CEO, Pat Gelsinger at VMworld Europe 2017.

We started with getting his thoughts on the brilliant VR-Powered Cloud Management demo in the morning keynote session but also talked about his life, gender equality, the future of SDDC, work/life balance and many other topics. It was a great chat and you must listen to it on your way to VMworld (or whatever you go in the morning).

There was a scary moment towards the tail-end of the interview when the batteries (despite being new) decided to die but full credit to Kev for quickly responding to it. Fortunately, he had spares with him. Also, many thanks to Pat for the understanding as like a pro, he restarted the chat from exactly where it was interrupted, as if nothing happened!

I think it’s fair to say we were quite nervous about the recording when wrapping up but fortunately, it was all good in the end and here is the result.
